So I get off of work tonight…..
And I noticed that I have three text messages and a missed call from my mother. So I call her back and we have the following conversation:
Me: Mom?
Mom: Caitlin are you alright?!
Me: Yes….
Mom: I’ve been trying to text you all day and you haven’t responded and you didn’t answer your phone earlier and I was worried!
Me: I didn’t think the message that you sent me this morning warranted a response, and I was at work for the rest of them.
Mom: No you weren’t, I sent you a text message at one!
Me: I was at work at one.
Mom: But I called you five minutes ago!
Me: I was at work five minutes ago!
Mom:…oh.
And then I get home, and I see this e-mail sent to me earlier today:
Caitlin…
Are you there? I’ve been calling and texting with no response from you. Is your ‘phone not working? Please let me know…. I’m worried!
