I had a dream last night that I had a pet duck.
It started out as a baby deer that followed my mother and I home one day. We were DRIVING home, and the deer was just skirting the highway, following us. Then, when we got home, the baby deer was suddenly a duck. I was a little skeptical of the duck at first….I didn’t trust it. But as time went on, that duck became my best friend. I loved that duck.

Saw The Eagle for the first time today.
As a movie, it was kind of meh. The storyline was too fast in some parts too slow in others. But oh my dear lord the bromance between Channing Tatum and Jamie Bell was spectacular. And while Channing is a little to muscle-y for my taste, I could watch Jamie Bell all day.

Went for a run for the first time in over a week...
It went so much better than I expected. I thought that I would be completely out of shape and struggling for 1-minute running intervals, but the run actually went great. I alternated between 1 and 1 1/2 minute running intervals for the whole three miles, which means I should be back to 2 minute intervals in a week or two. It felt good to get that runner’s high again :) I also felt nice...

Rain :/
So, I wake up this morning at 6:15, over an hour earlier than I need to, so that I can go for my run. I drag myself out of bed and start getting dressed, all the while still half asleep. Groggily, I go to my phone to check the weather app to see if I need warm-weather workout clothes or cold-weather workout clothes (because weather in Texas in the fall changes day by day), and what do I see?
